Intermediate Linux Administration
| Course Length: 5 days
Experience Level: 2-4 years experience in a Linux environment |
Topics covered | |
| Description: This course focuses on teaching junior administrators the tools and techniques they’ll need to become senior-level administrators. It assumes the student knows the basics of file manipulation, permissions and ownership, moving around on the command line, writing simple shell scripts, and basic use of SSH to perform remote tasks. Intermediate Linux Administration builds on these basics as a foundation by offering more advanced knowledge which will help the student configure, manage, troubleshoot, and automate the systems in their environment more effectively.
Although the course uses Red Hat Linux as the example implementation for consistency’s sake, we are happy to explain differences between distributions. Custom courses can be tailored to a specific distribution of your choosing. To book this class to be held at your site, email jonesy@owladvisors.com, or call 1-866-966-OWLS |
